Casa Gallinera

La Vall de Gallinera is located 90 min. from Valencia, far from the mass tourism of the Costa Blanca. A secret that our guests prefer to keep to themselves. On the road of the 8 villages is Benissivà and on the edge of the village, next to the church, is Casa Gallinera, the rural house restored in 2000, with a clear view of the Sierra de Umbria, has a beautiful swimming pool that, because of its orientation can be used almost all year round and has several terraces and an orchard. The house is therefore ideal for groups of 14 to 24 people. Ideal for a family reunion, a perfect wedding venue and also inspiring as a workplace for companies and as a magnificent holiday home.

Casa Gallinera is a cottage or casa rural with 9 spacious rooms, including a luxury suite and a family room, decorated with taste and detail, all equipped with air conditioning, central heating and private bathroom. Excellent mattresses and no need for a mask because it is dark and very quiet: everything for a good night's sleep.
There is a kitchen with cooking facilities including a microwave, a minibar and a real wood-fired pizza oven. Make your own pizza with your kids, how cool is that?!
You can relax in our lounge, nice and warm in winter with the stove and a good book from our library. In summer, you can enjoy the coolness here.
Authentic stoves, high ceilings with wooden beams, a large library, board games, patios where you can have breakfast, surrounded by beautiful well-kept plants, various seating areas for reading and the breathtaking view accompanied musically by the birds.
A swimming pool with deckchairs and various seating areas, a refreshing terrace, an orchard of 11,000 m2 and a private car park that can accommodate 9 vehicles. In Beniali, 5 minutes away you will find 2 electric charging stations.
Oh yeah, and every morning I treat you to breakfast because everyone deserves a good, healthy, relaxing breakfast to start the day.

The Vall de la Gallinera is made up of 8 charming little towns that are definitely worth a visit. There are several restaurants serving local and traditional dishes. The bakery is within walking distance and offers delicious local sweets and savoury snacks.
There are a multitude of route options that are a major draw for hikers. La Forada mountain is a must-see when you are here, with stunning views of the sea.
Things to do: hiking (in the mountains), cycling, rafting, horse riding, wine tasting and much more. Or you can visit Valencia, 1h30 drive, with its museums, old market and city center, among others. There are also tourist sites in Guadalest and Altea. Or you go to Oliva beach or one of the many bays on the Costa Blanca coast. Alicante allows you to enjoy it and you can visit the island of Taberna. And at the end of the day you come back to enjoy the peace and quiet by the pool with a view and listen to the birds.

Casa Gallinera is located in a quiet and natural reserve. Therefore it is not possible to build "parties" and/or barbecues. There is WiFi but no TV, which is very relaxing!

A "casa con encanto" or as some say even more beautiful than in the photos. Since 2024, Madelena is the new owner and I welcome you to my paradise. Because the real secret lies in the preserved interior with views of the mountain of La Foradà, where you can still enjoy serene peace and quiet life. It is the ideal starting point for hikes, alternating between mountain and sea.
